| Job Description | The selected candidate will work on the PKI Team and be responsible for hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support. -Assisting with the administration of secure government servers, to include administration and troubleshooting for Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems. -Assisting with installation, configuration, and integration of Certificate Authority, Directory, and HSM solutions, installing and testing various system patches and software patches. -Assisting with the investigating, installing, integrating, troubleshooting, and testing of PKI related issues and solutions. -Assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerabilities to an information system. |
| Qualifications | •Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
•Must have a desire and a willingness to learn •Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently •Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment •Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills •Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task •Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner •Experience with PKI and/or other identity management systems is a plus •Experience with SQL databases (Oracle) is a plus •Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices. •Understanding of advanced security protocols and standards. •Familiarity with various security devices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) •Security Certification Desired: CISSP, CISM GIAC certifications. •Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver. EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE: •Bachelor of Science degree in IT, Engineering or Mathematics is preferred, but not required •3-5 years of experience in Information Technology or Security. •2-3 years of experience in Linux, Unix and Windows OS administration •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance |
