Tangible Wins ITOC Contract with FBI

McLean, VA, October 2008 – Tangible, a provider of Energy, Security, and Consulting solutions to the Public and Private sectors, today announced it has been awarded the ITOD task order contract (ITOC) IDIQ contract with a maximum value of $175 million.

The FBI, with its mission to protect, defend, and uphold the security of the United States of America, has more than 50 major field offices throughout the US, more than 400 local offices in smaller towns, and operational offices throughout the world. A very large and capable organization is needed to support the needs of such a demanding workforce, all involved in performing duties pursuant to national security. The FBI Information Technology Operations Division (ITOD), a division of the FBI Office of the CIO, is responsible for providing a full range of operational IT services to run and improve the Bureau’s IT systems to support this critical mission.

Tangible, as the prime contractor with six partners, was awarded the ITOC contract along with 10 other small businesses, to pursue Task Orders with FBI ITOD.
